Julie was born and raised in Rutland, Vermont. She attended college in upstate New
York at Syracuse University. The WPL Merlins center started playing rugby in 2006.
Tordonato has played for a number of teams, including Rutland rugby club, Vermont
Select Side, new England Select Side, Syracuse Women’s Rugby, New York U-20 Selects,
and Atlantis Women’s Sevens. She’s an avid supporter of Syracuse basketball and the
Buffalo Bills NFL team.
